The cost for booking the whole boat varies depending on length of trip. See our price list for full information.

We offer many trips for individuals or small groups who do not wish to charter. Please see our availability calendar or call to discuss available individual dates.

You can enquire about bookings by sending a message on our Contact Us Tab or by emailing info@merlincharters.co.uk but we do strongly advise bookings are made by calling our booking line on 07863774909.

You can book multiple dates on one deposit providing that all trips prior to the last booking are paid in full so the deposit can automatically transfer to the next booking.

A deposit is required to secure your trip and must be paid immediately after booking. This is done via Bank Transfer and the remaining balance is due on the day of the trip in Cash Only. We do not accept paypal or any other method.  

Failure to pay deposit on the same day as booking will result in your trip being auto cancelled without warning.

Indeed. It is strongly advised to arrive 15mins before your scheduled sailing time as in some occasions we will be sailing during an ebb tide and being late may result in cancellation of trip and loss of deposit or a shortened trip due to tides.

That is absolutely fine. Merlin caters for all experience levels and our experienced friendly Skipper is happy to provide tuition at no extra cost. 

Unfortunately not but Rod Hire is available at £10pp including tackle (excludes tackle on wrecking trips).  Bait is also in addition and prices can be be found on our price list.

No, you do not need to bring your own but there is a small additional fee for the use of our equipment. Please see price list for further info on tackle & bait prices.

Regretfully that may be the case but unfortunately not much can be done if this occurs other than taking a look at our calendar and choosing another. 

There is no ruling on how far in advance to book but we strongly recommend booking as far in advance as possible as our booking line becomes very busy and fewer dates become available as the season starts. If you wish, you can book as far ahead as you like.
